Staff Application Process


1. Staff Application
Fill out and submit an application using one of the methods below (We request that all staff be a minimum age of 19).
  • Visit our staff page, select the appropriate position for your age and interest, fill out the electronic form (for database purposes), and then select, download and print the appropriate application, fill it out and mail it to Sanborn Western Camps:

  • Visit our staff page, select the appropriate position for your age and interest, fill out the electronic form (for database purposes), and then select, download and print the appropriate application, fill it out and fax it to Sanborn Western Camps: 719-748-3259
  • Electronically request a staff packet to be mailed. (Note: information is a replica of this website)
  • Call the Sanborn Western Camps office at 1-877-844-CAMP and ask for an application to be mailed to your home or school address
2. Reference Forms
When you download an application from the web (or receive one in the mail) you will also get four reference forms. Please have four NON-FAMILY, reliable people fill the forms out and send them to us promptly (as we cannot call you for an initial interview without having references on file).
3. Phone Interview #1
Interviewing is ongoing based on receipt of your complete application packet (your application form and a minimum of three references). This interview is with a senior staff member and will go over your qualifications, application questions and specific camp related scenarios. We will call and schedule a time that works for you.
4. Phone Interview #2
Secondary interview with another senior staff member. We will call and schedule a time that works for you.
5. Paperwork
If hired, you will be mailed a packet of forms and information. Please have your forms prepared before camp. If you have misplaced your forms, or need duplicate copies, please click here.
