Camper Expenses

Cash is not needed or used at camp, but we do ask that you fill out our "Additional Options" online form prior to camp so you can fund your child's expense account appropriately.

We operate a “camp bank” system and keep a record of each camper’s expenditures. A statement will be mailed home after camp with a refund or a bill.

We encourage careful spending and make every effort to keep the personal spending of campers to a minimum, but please discuss your expectations in this regard with your child.

Disposable cameras, camp clothing, batteries, and stamps are the most costly items available in the camp store. Sending sufficient quantities of these items with your child will help to keep his/her expenses down. Travel money will be advanced when necessary. Charges for rentals and optional services should also be figured into the personal spending account.

Equipment Rental and Purchases

In order to have equipment available, we should know by May 1st for the first term and by June 1st for the second term, if you desire to rent blankets, linens, backpacks, sleeping bags, or riding boots. Please mark equipment rental reservations on the "Additional Options" online form.
