Happy Holidays from all of us at Sanborn Western Camps. “Sammy the Sanborn Camper” world premiere performance by the Sanborn Singing Crowd. Lyrics written by Ariella. We can’t wait to see all our campers for summer 2020! Sing along with us:

You know hikers and bikers and riders and crafters All Sanborn campers are known for their laughter But do you remember First thinking of camp in December….

Sammy the Sanborn camper, Had some very shiny boots And when the wranglers saw them They all yodeled “wow-yahoo!”

Lots of the other campers Brought their favorite hiking gear They always bring excitement As the summer time draws near

Then one bluebird mountain day Maren came to say “Sammy, with your boots so bright Let’s go ride in the morning light.”

When all the campers get here You can hear us shout with glee We love all Sanborn campers Even if you aren’t Saa-mmy!

About Jessie Spehar

Jessie began her career at camp as a counselor in 2006 and returned each subsequent summer, taking on more responsibilities each year, including those of Camp Photographer and Supervisor of Canoeing and River trips. She joined the year-round team in 2013 as Marketing Director for the camps. Jessie has a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in Special Education and taught for 4 years before joining the COEC full-time staff. Stuffing M&Ms into marshmallows prior to roasting them, sitting in a canoe or her SUP board on top of the water and photographing everything are some of Jessie’s biggest joys.
