Camp is where I have learned everything I know about horses. In fact, just yesterday, on my horse all-day, I posted for while we were trotting for the first time. I also got to canter for the first time yesterday. It was so much fun and probably on of my favorite parts of camp this year! By Zoe M.

Almost year weeks has gone by and the juniors are going soon. Soon the older kids will be the only kids here. And by the end, we will miss our cabinmates, and also our counselors, AC and JC. I hope to see all of the them next year (in my 6th year). By Pippa O.

Camp has gone by fast between chanting at lunch, going on all-days and overnights. By the end of camp I will have made lots of life long friends. By Amelia M.

Camp has been super fun so far! With all of the cabinside overnights, meeting new people, playing sports with friends, all-days, overnights, birthday celebrations (including mine), chanting at lunch, writing letters, climbing mountains, and lastly, making art for my family and friends. Camp is one of those things that you go to, to try new things and meet cool people. My highlight of summer was definitely Sanborn Camps! Sabi A.

Camp is such a fun experience! I am so grateful to be here because most kids don’t even get to come to camp and I am grateful to be here at Sanborn Western Camps! If you are missing your family try to think of something that makes you laugh. If you get sick, try to stay healthy and if the store opens, don’t get candy. I’m having fun with my sister and cousin and everyone else at camp! By Zoe C.

Today at camp we have activities. This morning I did Frisbee Golf. It was very fun. Right now I am doing Ice Cream and Blogging. Earlier in the week, I did a Superhero overnight. I was with my sister, so it was extra fun! We though about what kind of superhero we would be. I was a superhero that ate crazy food, so now I can shoot food from my hands. Basically like Spiderman. On our cabinside overnight we went to Beyond A-Bluff campsite. It was fun, besides the part where I ate too much food. Anyway, this is my third year at camp and so far it is my favorite year. I really recommend coming to Sanborn Western Camps. Chase M.

Sanborn Western Camps: Camp is such a good place to be. This is my third year here, and every year gets better. We get to go on mountains (14/13 thousand feelt mountains) and make lots of new friends. Even though you family is far away, you still get to send your family letters and they get to send you letters. Every cabinside has great counselors. Every single second you spend there you make new friends, new adventures, awesome pictures, and most importantly you make new memories. Every day, no matter how small or how big, there is always going to be a great memory at Sanborn. By Padgett P.

This is my 6th year at High Trails and I’m in Cedar Lodge East! Right now I am blogging and getting ready to make ice cream for my afternoon activity. Yesterday, I went rafting at a near river and it was super fun and the rapids were crazy! For my long trip, I’ll be climbing Mt. Silverheels and exploring the continental divide. At Sanborn you also get to ride horses, create crafts, go on All-Days, and go on Overnights. You can also make new friends or get closwer to each other. And… the food is AMAZING! By Julie A.

I went on a horse All-Day and our wrangler took us to places we had never been on the property before. On the way to our lunch spot, my friend’s horse spontaneously started trotting. She had never trotted before, but she loved it. After that our wrangler let us trot, and eventually canter. It was amazing and I hope to do it again soon! By Ginger P.

Camp has been awesome so far! I have gotten to try new things such as canoeing and learning new card games like BS and Exploding Kittens. I have also met a ton of awesome, cool and friendly people at camp. I also got to go horseback riding and go hiking around camp! By Anonymous

It’s my first year at Sanborn, and I’m really happy with what I’ve done here at camp so far. I love horseback riding here. The scenery is also beautiful. Most of all, though, I’ve made so many friends because the community at Sanborn is so amazing. By Jackie F.

So far at camp we have done a lot of fun activities. I especially love horseback riding and the Art Barn. I sadly didn’t get to do many Interbarn activities, but those are my favorite. I have hiked on mountain this year so far, and it was challenging by fun. By Eliza L.

I’ve been going to camp for 4 years now, and my father went here too and I think it’s super cool that the history is being passed down from generation to generation! One of the hardest time was when I first left for camp, but when I was here for a week it was like home! During the whole school year I get excited for camp becuase its so warm hearted and honestly one of my favorite places on the planet! By JoJo P.

Camp is a lot of fun. This is my first year here at camp and I really like it. My mom came and wanted me to come. I’ve done so many things. I went on my first backpacking trip. It was so much fun, and the girls on my cabinside are amazing as well. I also really like all of my counselors. I haven’t rode many horses yet, but my long trip is a horse trip and I’m very excited about that. Some of my friends are on it as well. I’m so excited for the rest of camp. By Ella H.

This is my 5th year at High Trails and it is one of my favorite things every summer. This year I’m in Cedar Lodge East, also known as CLE. I love camp so much and I highly recommend coming here. By Ella

It’s my first year at Sanborn and I love it! There are so many things that I’ve never done, but am doing here, like horseback riding, going to the crystal beds, rock scrambling, going camping, going on rafts on a river all-day, and playing Nine-Square-In-The-Air. I’ve also made so many new friends here. By Claire K.
