Sanborn Road Show 2027: Coming to a City Near You!

by Ariella Rogge on October 01

We are excited to announce that the Sanborn Western Camps Summer 2027 online enrollment application is now OPEN and we would love to welcome your camper/s to camp!

Even though we love to “think summer,” we also love the transition of the seasons. Fall brings afternoon hikes through golden aspen groves, listening to elk bugling during the now-quiet evenings and the first shiver, “brrrrrr”, morning surprise when you realize you need to put on another layer.

It also means we are hitting the road for our 2027 Sanborn Road Show in October. These shows are an opportunity for current and prospective campers, their families, staff and alums to come together to meet some of the camp leadership and to learn more about a Sanborn Summer.

Whether you are a brand new camper or a 6 year camper or you haven’t been a camper for 25 years–we love having everyone join us for this hour long presentation and reconnect. We will be updating the website over the next few weeks as we finalize details. If you aren’t in any of those locations…fear not! We will also host a number of virtual Road Shows, too.

AND…if YOU are on the road and in Colorado this fall, we would love to invite you to our inaugural Fall Tour & Open House on Friday, October 16th. Pop by any time from 9a-3p on that day, meet the directors, and take an on-the-hour walking tour of either Big Spring Ranch for Boys or High Trails Ranch for Girls while learning more about the friendship, adventure, personal growth and fun that is part of a Sanborn Western Camps summer experience.

If Sanborn Western Camps is in your family’s plans for next summer we encourage you to submit your online enrollment application to avoid being on a waitlist. We offer a full deposit refund for cancellations made prior to February 1st, 2027.

If you have any questions about a Sanborn Western Camps experience, please feel free to call 719-748-3341 or schedule a call with Big Spring boys’ camp director, Will Coleman or with High Trails girls’ camp director, Krista White. You may also visit the Parents section of our website and learn more on our blog.

Enjoy the fall and we hope to see you at one of our fall or winter in-person Road Shows or on one of our online Zoom events!
